Regenerative Homes: Beyond Sustainable

A regenerative home replaces the traditionally built loadbearing exterior walls with loadbearing walls made from a combination of hemp, earth and lime creating a home that has a negative carbon foot print. Because the loadbearing exterior walls of our homes naturally stabilize the home’s interior humidity and temperature fluctuation they create an energy cost savings of over 45% when compared with an identical, traditional wood framed homes equipped with the same HVAC system. This allows for a reduction in cost and number of solar panels needed to create an energy-negative home.
